BS-8255PL Primerless Auto Glass Sealant
A moisture-cured, high modulus MS Polymer sealant formulated for windscreen bonding
applications without primer. It has high green strength and excellent resistance against weathering
and temperature extremes. It is solvent-free and will not shrink after curing.
Product Description
Applications:
1. Substrate surface must be dry and clean; free of dirt, grease, oil, or standing water.
2. Surfaces should be cleaned with alcohol, M.E.K. or other suitable solvent. Do not use Soap or
detergent.
3. Cut the tip off and puncture the internal foil seal with the nozzle. Cut the nozzle at 45° angle to
desired bead-width and apply the sealant to substrate with cartridge gun.
4. For full mechanical properties, the sealant must be applied at temperature between +5°C and
+35°C.
5. The use of Primer on glass is recommended (for porous substrates).
6. Assemble the windscreen with 10 minutes of sealant application.
